We fix, not just top up
A system that "needs" a regas every year has a leak. We find it and repair it once, properly.
Cars, trucks, tractors, caravans
From a Corolla in Kambah to a header on a Yass farm — same fully equipped mobile setup.
"Booked Filip for an aircon regas on my LandCruiser before a Queensland trip. Found a slow leak at the condenser, fixed and gassed same day. Ice cold the whole way up."
"Newer Kia needed R1234yf and every workshop told me a two-week wait. Filip came the next morning. Fair price, professional job."
"Tractor A/C died mid-harvest. Filip drove out to the paddock, replaced the compressor and had us back cutting the same afternoon."

We cover all of the ACT plus Queanbeyan and surrounding NSW — Canberra, Belconnen, Gungahlin, Woden, Tuggeranong, Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra, Googong, Bungendore and out to nearby farms and worksites.
Common questions
How much does a car aircon regas cost in Canberra?+
Standard R134a regas is a fixed price when the system holds pressure. R1234yf costs more because the refrigerant itself is more expensive. Call for a quote — we'll tell you straight up.
My aircon worked yesterday and today it's warm — what's wrong?+
Usually a leak or a failed compressor clutch. A proper leak test finds the cause before spending on refrigerant that just leaks straight back out.
Do you regas R1234yf?+
Yes — we run a fully compliant R1234yf machine on the van, so newer Toyotas, Fords, Kias and European vehicles are all covered.
Can you service truck and tractor A/C?+
Yes. We regularly service heavy vehicle, tractor and header A/C systems — mobile out to your farm, depot or worksite around Canberra and the Queanbeyan region.
How often should I regas my car air conditioning?+
A healthy aircon system shouldn't need a regas — refrigerant is sealed in. If it needs topping up every year or two, there's a leak. We'll find it and fix it properly.
How long does a car aircon regas take?+
A straightforward regas — pressure test, vacuum, recharge, cold-air check — is about 60 minutes on most cars. Add extra time if a leak test or repair is required.
Why does my car aircon smell bad when I turn it on?+
Damp organic matter (mould) grows on the evaporator core. A cabin filter replacement plus an antibacterial evaporator treatment usually clears it in one visit.
Is it worth converting an old R12 system to R134a?+
Sometimes — depends on the vehicle. Old classic and heritage cars usually benefit; late-90s R134a systems rarely need conversion. Happy to advise before quoting.
Can you replace an aircon compressor at my home?+
Yes. Most compressor replacements can be done in your driveway in a single visit. We bring the replacement compressor, new drier, refrigerant and oil on the van.
